CARMEN ELECTRA: 'I'M IN NO RUSH TO MARRY'
Model-turned-actress CARMEN ELECTRA has laughed off reports she is getting cold feet about marrying former KORN guitarist ROB PATTERSON, insisting she in no hurry to walk down the aisle.The Scary Movie star became engaged to the rock musician during the weekend of her 36th birthday (20Apr08) - and has faced constant questioning about when the big day will be.
Electra tells People.com, "It's funny, everyone else puts so much pressure, (asking), 'When are you getting married?'
"If it was up to everybody else, we'd be married and divorced already."
The twice-divorced model/actress recently travelled to Boston, Massachusetts to meet Patterson's parents.
She adds, "We're taking it slow, and we're happy."
ANGELINA JOLIE REPLACED AS FACE OF SHISEIDO
Actress ANGELINA JOLIE has been dropped as the face of Japanese cosmetics giant SHISEIDO to make room for a new celebrity face.
The 33-year-old star signed on as the brand's ambassador in 2006 - but after two years of appearing in commercials and print ads for the brand, she has been outed from her post by British supermodel Agyness Deyn.
Deyn can be seen as the brand's new spokesmodel in their Fall 2008 Maquillage ad campaign.
It's not the only contract pregnant Jolie has lost - she parted company with fashion house St. John last month (May08), ending a three-year relationship with the company.
CIARA TURNS PROFESSIONAL MODEL, UNVEILS FASHION LINE PLANS
R&B beauty CIARA has signed with a top modelling agency in a bid to further her career and broaden her appeal.
The 1, 2 Step singer, who is currently the face of rap mogul Jay-Z's Rocawear clothing line, is now a client of modelling agency Wilhelmina. Her new agents will focus on winning Ciara more contracts in the clothing and fragrance industries.
And Ciara - who is rumoured to be dating 50 Cent - is ecstatic about the new career path.
She says, "Modelling has always been one of my aspirations. But I was insecure about my height. I thought I was 5 foot 7 inches but I just found out that I'm 5 foot 8 inches so I'm really excited about that."
The star has also unveiled plans to launch her own fashion line with budget department store Steve and Barry's, following in the footsteps of actress Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten range.
She adds, "I have a couple of cool things that I'm working on. The coolest thing about Steve and Barry's is they cater to everyday people. I won't say that my line will be like theirs, I want to stay true to who I am, but most importantly it has to be affordable."

Bips Bengali Film In Trouble
The bong babe, who stars in a Bengali movie, Sab Charita Kalpunik, is under troubles because of the placements of logos. The movie was to have reliance logo flashing as the movie started, but the director, Rituparno Ghosh had other views about the logo’s placement, which ignited a conflict between the company and the director.
“While Reliance wanted their logo to be flashed on the screen with the first shot of the film, Rituparno is of the opinion that it would be more aesthetic to have the logo just before the narration begins,”says a source.
How sad to see a little logo conflict to bar the audience from viewing a great movie.

SRK Says No To Sequel Of Don
SRK, who had faced sharp criticism and comparison with Amitabh Bachchan post Farhan Akhtar’s ‘DON’, has shown his disinterest in the remake of the film. SRK, who was quite interested in the sequel, even before ‘Don’ was released, has now, had a change of plans.Now that’s a good move to avoid Bachchan related controversies SRK!!
